JENNIFER HAYDEN
PRINCIPAL + DESIGNER
A Canadian native, Jennifer graduated from the University of Toronto with a dual degree in Art & Art History and a Visual Arts diploma. Without delay, she found work in California and never looked back. Her real training began when she was immersed in the business that she shared with her husband, a general contractor in San Francisco. It did not take long for it became apparent that her newly acquired skills, paired with her lifelong passion for design, would provide the blueprint for her success.
Before venturing into interior design, Jennifer had successful careers as the Director of Institutional Equity Trading at Firsthand Funds and as a Rowing Coach for Stanford University. Both experiences are paramount to her ability to cut through the noise and get the job done.
Grounded in the idea that in-depth knowledge of the building process is central in delivering solutions with expert foresight and industry-specific guidance Jen Hayden | Style + Design was open for business in 2009.

FOUZIA SHAMSI
DESIGN
Fouzia was educated in the Netherlands where she acquired a Bachelor of Applied Science in Architectural Engineering and a Master of Science in Architecture, Urbanism & Building Science. Her passion for design is rivaled only by her insatiable curiosity as she is keenly aware of the cultural vernacular of urban spaces. She values constant and clear communication in order to facilitate the creative process and this is reflected in meticulously detailed elevations.
TARYN FINNIGAN
AIN'T NO GIRL FRIDAY
Taryn is our local treasure. Born and raised in Burlingame and educated at San Francisco State University her can-do spirit is contagious. She has been raised in a family of builders and makers and while she is an nursery teacher by day she enjoys keeping one foot in the design game and delights using her early childhood techniques on all of us. She joined the team in 2018 with a can-do spirit we would lost without.
